SASD Membership Information

Some of you may be retiring this year and may not be aware that SASD offers its members a “Retiree Membership” for just $50.00 a year. This membership provides retirees with all the benefits they received prior to retirement and also allows members to continue with their $10,000 life insurance policy.

Please Note: this insurance includes Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment. Uninterrupted annual membership is required for life insurance benefits. Accidental Death and Dismemberment is discontinued at age 65. Your coverage does decrease from $10,000 at age 70 to $6,500, and at age 75 is reduced to $5,000.
